The British Game Alliance is the official marketing board for the UK game industry. As a not-for-profit organisation, we promote game to the public and across all sectors as the official marketing board for game. Through our 'British Game' assurance scheme we can ensure the provenance of our game meets rigorous and ethical standards, bringing the game sector in line with other agricultural sectors.
Entering our third year of operation, this is an exciting time to join us as our Managing Director following the decision of Mr Tom Adams to seek new challenges.
Responsibilities will include providing strategic leadership and direction, continuing to develop our vision to promote the consumption of game and ensuring best practice from egg to plate.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading and inspiring a team, in addition to working effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will need to have a passion for game, with an understanding of the food sector and supply chain, as well as a solid understanding of the shooting industry. Having a dynamic approach to the day to day role is key due to the large number of differing stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with good communication, advocacy and networking skills. A strong empathy with sporting shooting and the countryside is essential.
A competitive salary plus benefits will be offered to the successful candidate
